Political sources from New Delhi share that Komatireddy Venkata Reddy is going to be given the position of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President. Though the news is not from the confirmed sources, it is heard from the reliable groups.
Komatireddy Venkata Reddy is a Congress leader from Nalgonda. He is the present Lok Sabha incumbent from Bhongir Constituency.
Sources say that though Revanth Reddy was first considered for this position, his affinity with Chandrababu Naidu made him opt out by the high command in Delhi.
Komatireddy is a Congress leader since his youth and he never switched his loyalties to other parties through out his political career. He also has hold on his constituency by the virtue of his leadership.
Inside sources say that his appointment as the PCC Chief of Telangana Congress will be announced on 11th December.
Earlier to this, Uttam Kumar Reddy, the incumbent PCC Chief himself said that he is likely to be relieved from the post after municipal elections.
