Telangana's first Muslim home minister Mohd Mahmood Ali has landed in a soup though he was no way connected with the incident.
This shocking incident pertains to three Muslim youth, who vandalised Global Hospital in Lakdikapul, Hyderabad, accusing medical negligence of the hospital which led to death of their mother on Monday night.
Three Muslim youth along with their friends and relatives went on a rampage attacked doctors, hospital staff and damaged furniture, computers etc.
They even attacked Circle Inspector, Sub Inspector and other police staff who rushed to the incident to control the situation.
This triggered messages and videos on social media, which went viral, stating that the Muslim youth resorted to such violent acts only because the home minister was a Muslim and he will take care about them.
These videos and messages went on to say that Telangana state never witnessed such violent incidents since the formation of state and this happened only with the support of home minister.
However, home minister Mohd Mahmood Ali and the police department strongly condemned postings on social media giving 'religious colour' to Global Hospital attack issue.
They said no one resorts to violence based on religion and caste and the police will deal with the attackers strictly as per law.
