The newly formed Telangana government has decided to tread safely regarding the fee reimbursement issue.
They are working overtime to make sure that they do not violate the Constitution or any law by going back on the scheme. If they issue any notification locally, it might lead to criticism calling it unconstitutional or unlawful.
So, the T government has decided to give additional aid to Telangana students in the name of social support.
According to it, the student has to give an affidavit and a self declaration stating that he or she is born in Telangana. Following that, the father and the grandfather, if alive, should sign the letter saying they were born in Telangana too. After verifying these in the college, the fees will be reimbursed to the students.
So, this is their latest ploy to get their way.
