If one were to believe the promises of the ruling Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh, it appears as if there is nothing more powerful than having the party membership.
Already, all those who have enrolled in the party have been given bumper offers.
The special offers include various facilities like insurance in lakhs of rupees, concessions in travel buses, treatment at some speciality hospitals, etc.
Just when everyone thought that was it, Telugu Desam leader Sujana Choudhary has announced another major facility.
According to it, the TDP members will get to participate in the government affairs directly and special entry will be facilitated soon.
The Union Minister has announced that those with TDP membership will be given visas and passports at the earliest with minimum red tape.
He said that a special unit will be established within the party to look into this matter. He said the cell would address all visa and passport related problems of the members.
And these are just a few. The party is announcing more offers. It is being said that TDP is hell-bent on getting the “biggest” party tag soon. So are the offers mobilizing people? Are they making them to queue up in front of the TDP office?
