In a rather surprising incident, TDP leaders from Chittoor district’s Puthalapattu constituency have filed a case against YSRCP MLA Sunil Kumar.
According to the case filed, it was said that MLA Sunil Kumar along with his followers was trying to threaten the staff working at Morjaanapalli sub-station.
However, no case has been filed by the employees of the sub-station. But once there was a rumour that Sunil Kumar had threatened the staff, TDP members got into the scene and it is said that they put pressure on the staff to file a case.
Meanwhile, Transco ED got to know of the situation and is said to have spent the night contemplating whether to file the case or not. However, bowing down to pressure from the ruling party MLAs, the staff did go and file the case eventually.
Had the MLA misbehaved with them so rudely, the staff would have filed a case earlier or they would have at least complained to their higher authorities.
Now it remains to be seen if the accused MLA had gone there to fight for people’s cause or for any personal reasons or to due to some controversial issue.
