TDP Won't Claim For CM Post In Telangana!

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been desperately trying to counter the Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders that his party would gain control over Telangana, if Maha Kootami is voted to power.

Addressing a series of rallies in Rajendranagar on Saturday, Naidu made it clear that the TDP had no interest whatsoever in the power, if Maha Kootami comes to power in Telangana.

“The chief minister would be from the Congress party which is the biggest partner Iin Maha Kootami. The TDP, which had won 15 seats in 2014 elections, is contesting in just 13 seats. How can it gain control over the Telangana?” he asked.

He made it clear that the TDP had joined hands with the Congress party in Telangana as part of the larger strategy to build a nation-wide anti-Bharatiya Janata Party front.

“We are only fighting for upholding democracy and saving the country from the anti-people regime of Narendra Modi,” he said.

Calling Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as a big liar, Naidu said both Modi and KCR had the habit of running down their political rivals.

He said that GST and demonetization had only brought troubles to the people and that people were living under constant fear in the BJP's rule.
