Following uncertainty in Andhra Pradesh after the Centre’s decision to divide the state, Telugu Desam Party wants to meet President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to appraise them of the latest situation prevailing in the State.
According to party sources, TDP leadership has sought appointment with the President and the Prime Minister on October 25 and 26.
A delegation of TDP MPs, MLAs and other leaders would meet the top top heads of the country and request them to find a solution to the problems being faced by the people after the CWC’s decision.
However, one fails to understand what the TDP leaders exactly want. It is not clear whether they ask the President and Prime Minister to stop bifurcation or seek a huge package for Seemandhra.
Unless the party comes out with a clear stand, it is unlikely to get any response from the President or the PM.
