Telugu Desam Party leader and IT-man of the party Palem Srikanth Reddy on Friday quit the TDP and launched ‘Jana Palana’, a socio-political movement forum.
Srikanth Reddy said money influence was the reason for corruption in the nation and the political leaders were spending crores of rupees during the elections and were earning crores of rupees after the elections.
“To earn crores of rupees, political leaders are indulging in scams and it became tradition in today’s politics”, he bemoaned.
He said that the change should be brought at gross root level and added he will conduct debates in the districts before the elections.
He said that already teams are ready in 12 districts in this regard.
He said that the Forum’s main objective was to bring social awareness among the people and the first meeting will be held at Anantapur district.
He said that he has launched this program while seeing the good response to his earlier ‘Yuva Patham’ program.
