Guntur: A local TDP leader and two women involved in a prostitution racket were arrested by police in Sattenapalle town on Monday.
Following a tip-off, circle inspector Sambasiva Rao along with his team conducted a raid at a residence in Christianpeta at around 3 pm and caught TDP leader Ravipati Madhubabu red-handed with a sex worker.
Madhubabu along with two women, who were running the racket, was arrested. Police said that they kept an eye on the residence after receiving complaints from locals about suspicious activity .
A case was filed against Madhubabu and the women under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act of 1956.
