It is indeed ridiculous on the part of the BJP to try and ask for President’s Rule in Andhra Pradesh citing the slipper attack on Kanna Lakshmi Narayana and TDP cadre attacking Amit Shah’s convoy in Tirupati, apart from other isolated incidents.
Nevertheless, the TDP cadre would do well to refrain from physical attacks of any kind just because they are the ruling party.
What goes around comes around and he who lives by the sword dies by the sword.
NTR and Chandrababu Naidu encouraged the notorious Rayalaseema factionist Paritala Ravi for political gains apart from community reasons and emboldened by their support, Paritala Ravi set about finishing his rivals in a dastardly manner for the better part of a decade.
When TDP lost and Congress came to power, all Ravi’s men and followers were mercilessly cut down in retaliation and Ravi himself succumbed to an attack on him at his own Party office in Anantpur.
Similarly, NTR and Chandrababu gave complete support to Devineni Nehru which culminated in the murder of Nehru’s bitter rival Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga Rao.
Such kinds of incidents hamper the development of the respective regions and youth are led astray.
In Kerala and West Bengal, hardly a day goes by without news of the murder of a Communist or RSS guy.
Therefore, the onus is on the Chief Minister to usher in the climate for a progressive, healthy environment where people are free to express contradictory opinions without fear failing which no kinds of welfare schemes will do any good to society.
