Many expected that Pithapuram Varma, who sacrificed his MLA seat for Pawan Kalyan as per the alliance agreement, would be given an MLC seat and thereby made a minister in the cabinet of Andhra Pradesh.
But surprisingly, Pawan Kalyan pushed forward the candidature of Nagababu to make him an MLC and a minister.
Moreover, the Janasainiks and key leaders of Jana Sena were not interested in giving the MLC seat to Pithapuram Varma, as he would become a second power center in the same region. Thus, the interest of Jana Sena was honored by the TDP, and Varma was kept aside from the list.
In fact, had Pawan Kalyan promoted the candidature of Pithapuram Varma to make him the MLC and minister, stating that his sacrifice should be rightfully reciprocated instead of favoring Nagababu, who made no political sacrifices, it would have been the right decision.
Nagababu is a product of nepotism, craving power just by campaigning for his own brother in elections. Had Pawan Kalyan promoted Pithapuram Varma’s name instead of his own brother’s, he would have become an ideal politician.
In fact, Pawan Kalyan had promised Pithapuram Varma the same. But alas! He exposed his selfishness, narrow-mindedness, greed, and opportunism. TDP also joined hands with Janasena and backstabbed Pithapuram Varma.
Now, a team of TDP members has been given the role of consoling Pithapuram Varma, and they are actively working on their job.
