If one follows the itineraries of Telangana CM KCR and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu closely, it is obvious that they are more or less aping each other in many ways.
You can call it one-upmanship or merely following each other, but what one does, the other is doing it immediately. For example, if KCR goes to New Delhi, then within a gap of two to three days, AP CM too is boarding a flight to the capital.
And if KCR has chosen to tour Telangana on his special craft, Chandra Babu too is doing the same. They are also vying with each other when it comes to going on international tours.
Similarly, their stand and behaviour has been the same when it comes to waiver of loans. Both the CMs have also been following similar policy in regularizing illegal constructions.
And as if this was not enough, the two CMs are now competing with each other in talking about vaastu and astrologers to get their way without any opposition.
By insisting on following the vaastu principles to the T and sticking to precise moments, both CMs are spending loads of money from state exchequer and are now contemplating changes to their offices.
While Chandra Babu has already shifted his office in Secretariart, KCR has gone two steps ahead and has come up with the plan to shift the entire Secretariat from Hussain Sagar area to Erragadda.
Another interesting development is that since Andhra Pradesh will have a new capital, KCR too has decided to change the face of Hyderabad by making a lot of changes to the capital of Telangana.
Well, let’s not go into who is trying to imitate who at this point in time. We will rest our case by saying that in the huge game being played by both the CMs, Telugu people of both states are the ultimate losers.
