Talasani's Son Booked In Assault Case!

Commercial taxes and cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav is getting into one controversy or the other.

The minister who is already facing ‘anti-defection case’ for continuing as minister in TRS government even after resigning as TDP MLA from Sanathnagar constituency nearly 10 months ago, is in for fresh trouble with his son’s involvement in an assault case.

The Marredpally Police on Friday booked a case against his son T Sai Kiran for wrongful confinement of a woman.

Complainant Abhinav approached the Marredpally police on Friday and complained that about three days ago, Talasani Sai Kiran and some others had kidnapped his wife Bhavya Reddy and beat her. When Abhinav went to his in-laws’ house, he was also beaten up.

Abhinav stated that he married a girl about two years ago against the wish of the girl’s parents. Three days ago, his in-laws forcibly took his wife home.

The complainant also alleged that MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav’s son was behind the episode and demanded justice.

Based on the complaint, the Marredpally police booked a case under section 448, section 324, section 342 and section 384 of IPC for probe.

According to the police, Abhinav, a resident of Marredpally, fell in love with national tennis player Bhuvana and the two got married six months ago despite opposition from Bhuvana’s parents.

Abhinav, who visits a gym regularly, met Bhuvana at the same gym and they developed relationship. When Bhuvana requested her parents to let her marry Abhinav, they turned down the proposal. But Bhuvana married Abhinav in May.

Upset, Bhuvana’s father Mahender approached minister Srinivas Yadav seeking justice and his intervention.

While discussions were taking place between Abhinav and Bhuvana’s parents, the minister’s son allegedly interfered and threatened Abhinav. The latter approached the police.

“We received a complaint from one Abhinav who alleged that he was threatened by one Sai Kiran who is minister’s son. Based on the complaint, police registered cases and took up investigation,” said DCP N Prakash Reddy.

Recently, Talasania daughter also stirred up a controversy with her alleged involvement in a “finance settlement case”.
