Talasani Should Be Sacked, Prosecuted

Demanding dismissal of Talasani Srinivas Yadav from the KCR cabinet and file a cheating case against him, Telugu Nadu Students Federation (TNSF) submitted a memorandum to the Ambedkar statue at Liberty here on Monday.

TNSF Telangana State president Ch Madhusudhan Reddy lashed out at the TRS government alleging that it was violating the Indian Constitution written by Dr BR Ambdedkar. The TRS government was ridiculing the democracy and anti-defection law, he asserted.

He also alleged that Talasani Srinivas Yadav (Sanath Nagar Constituency), Challa Dharma Reddy (Parakala), Teegala Krishna Reddy (Maheshwaram), Manchireddy Kishan Reddy (Ibrahimpatnam) and Madhavaram Krishna Rao (Kukatpally) had won the election on TDP B-Form and joined TRS party.

Among the party defectors, Talasani Srinivas Yadav was continuing as Minister for the last eight months. The TDP lodged a complaint with the Assembly Speaker, Governor and President against the five MLAs but no action was initiated against them.

When the TDP approached the High Court, it censured the Speaker but there was no response from the Speaker’s Office. Besides, the Speaker’s Office clarified that Talasani had not yet submitted his resignation letter to the Speaker.

The Governor must use his discretionary power and protect the democratic system and the peoples’ belief on them, he urged.
