Once their careers in movies comes to an end most of the top heroes seem inclined on a political career to stay in the reckoning.
The gullible public is charmed by the on screen persona of these people and foolishly votes them into power thinking that they are heroes off screen too. Sadly, that is not the case!
Coming to the point, it is reported that Nandamuri Balakrishna would be missing in action from the second of October for the second phase of the ‘Janmabhoomi Maavooru’ programme.
Balayya had skipped the first phase as well. In fact he would be the only MLA from Seemandhra missing in action as he is busy with the shooting of his movie.
So who shall listen to the problems of the people then? Prior to the elections, he had promised the moon to the people of Hindupur but now that his purpose is served, they are apparently no longer his priority.
Even if politicians work 24/7, they cannot alleviate the problems of the poor people. Against this backdrop it is really sad to see the likes of Balakrishna and Jayasudha earlier who while continuing in office still managed ample time for films and related events.
As for Chiranjeevi, the lesser said about him, the better!
