T-TDP Warns KCR Against Land Sale

Telangana TDP president L. Ramana here on Thursday warned Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao that they would not allow sale of prime land in and around Hyderabad at his discretion.

Speaking to mediapersons at NTR trust bhavan, Ramana demanded that Chief Minister call an all-party meeting to elicit their views on the issue.

He also warned that his party would launch agitation to save prime government lands from sale.

He also alleged that KCR failed to release even a single rupee towards the fee reimbursement scheme for current academic year. Because of inordinate delay in releasing funds, students are facing severe problems in colleges, he added.

He also alleged that the Chief Minister’s inefficiency was the main reason for power shortage in the State affecting agriculture sector.

He also said 740 farmers have committed suicide due to KCR’s negligence. Demanding immediate action against defectors Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Teegala Krishna Reddy and Dharma Reddy, the TDP leader said his party would take legal course on the matter.
