With the UPA government deciding to form separate Telangana state, the Telangana Congress leaders are virtually pushed to wall and they do not know how to defend their boss N Chandrababu Naidu who has taken a turn towards Samaikyandhra.
Telangana TDP legislators Motkupalli Narasimhulu and Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Friday said there was nothing wrong in Naidu attacking the Centre for taking a unilateral decision.
They said the TDP president wanted to have discussions with JAC leaders of both regions.
“What is wrong in the demand, which is made only in the interest of both the regions?” they argued.
They, however, said the desire of Telangana people had been fulfilled following the Central cabinet decision to divide the state.
“The credit for formation of separate State for Telangana region goes to students,” they said and demanded passage of Telangana Bill immediately in Parliament.
