T-process to be definitely stalled

The T-process might run into obstacles not from the President or Parliament which might approve it, but from the Supreme Court.

What this means is that the intervention of the Court might result in the new state not becoming a formality before the 2014 general elections.

Legal experts say that ultimately, the Centre can have its way and get the Bill passed, but it is clear that they have not completely adhered to the constitutional procedures as far as the T-Bill is concerned.

In fact, there is still uncertainty over the fact whether the Bill tabled in the Assembly is an original or a draft Bill.

As such, if the Supreme Court were forced to intervene, a new state could becoe a possibility only after the elections.
