T-Ministers Ask Kiran To Quit!

The State Cabinet, which met on Tuesday after a two-month gap, witnessed heated argument as both Telangana and Seemandhra leaders stuck to their guns of pro- and anti-Telangana.

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy came under fire by Telangana ministers for opposing bifurcation.

Even as Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha said to have faulted the Chief Minister for his ‘Prorogue’ notice and his rhetoric against the party high command on the issue, senior ministers like Jana Reddy and others expressed discontent over Chief Minister using Rachchabanda for campaigning against bifurcation and taking unilateral decision to sanction Rs 6,000 crore to cater to water needs of Chittoor, his home district.

Besides, they said to have reprimanded the Chief Minister for supporting a separate movement by APNGOs against the bifurcation.

According to sources, they have reportedly asked the Chief Minister to pave an easy way for carving out Telangana instead of coming in the way.

Thus, they have almost suggested that Kiran Reddy resign to the post honorably.

Kiran, however, reiterated that he would oppose bifurcation and the draft bill.
