Senior Congress leader and ex minister C Ramachandraiah had demanded that an all-party meet be held before taking a final decision on the new capital city of Andhra Pradesh.
He opined that it was not appropriate to circulate stories about the issue.
He said the opposition parties should be briefed about the various suggestions and recommendations regarding the capital city and that their opinions need to be considered before making any decision.
Meanwhile, AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu met the members of Sivaramakrishnan Committee appointed by the Centre to look into the matter.
Later, speaking to media persons, Sivaramakrishnan disclosed that Chandra Babu did not mention about wanting the new capital to be between Vijayawada-Guntur. The Committee will submit its report by August 10th, he said.
