It is YSR Congress Party all the way. If the elections are to be held now for the entire state of Andhra Pradesh,
YSRCP will bag 132 to 145 seats while the ruling Congress will be relegated to the fourth position after Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and Telugu Desam Party, according to a survey conducted by Neilson-ORG for popular television channel N Tv.
The seat tally as per the opinion survey is: YSRCP- 132-145, TRS-59-63, TDP- 48-54, Congress 28-35, BJP 7-10 and others- 10-21 (Including MIM 7).
The sweep continues in Lok Sabha constituencies as well. Out of the total 42 LS seats, YSRCP is expected to bag 23 to 35 constituencies, TRS 8 to 10, Congress 3 to 5 and TDP 3 to 5 and BJP and MIM one each.
In Telangana, the TRS holds the sway while Congress is in a poor second position despite granting statehood for the region. Out of the 119 Assembly seat, the share of various parties is as follows: TRS 59 to 63, Congress 19 to 24, TDP 14 to 17, BJP 5 to 8, YSRCP 5 to 8. It is clear that YSRCP will virtually sweep the elections in Rayalaseema and coastall Andhra regions while TRS will hold sway in Telangana.
