The AP government has increased the ex-gratia to families of farmers who have committed suicides to Rs 3.5 lakhs.
The government will also repay the debts of the farmers to moneylenders, to the tune of Rs 1.5 lakh.
That’s not all! If the deceased farmer has any children, the government will take care of their educational needs and arrange for their stay at government hostels.
The family will also be given government housing apart from pension.
