Stop Preaching Lessons, Talasani Tells Ex-Boss!

Telangana Minister for Cinematography and Commercial Taxes Talasani Srinivasa Yadav, who continues to be the Telugu Desam Party member despite defecting to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi two and a half years ago, has now got the excellent opportunity to take on his former boss, TDP president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

On Monday, Talasani gave a piece of advice to Naidu saying it was time the TDP president stop preaching lessons to the people on integrity, honesty, truthfulness and ethics.

“Stop using these words hereafter. You have no moral right to talk about integrity and honesty in politics,” Talasani said referring to induction of four YSR Congress party MLAs into the AP cabinet by Naidu.

The Telangana minister wondered with what logic and ethics Naidu had taken this step, while he cried foul when he (Talasani) was inducted into the Tealgnana cabinet in December 2014.

“Your Telangana TDP leaders went all the way to New Delhi screaming against my induction in the TRS cabinet.

What do they say now, when Naidu did the same in Andhra Pradesh?” he asked and demanded an explanation from the TDP president in this regard.

Talasani challenged Naidu to get all the defected MLAs resign and re-elected on the TDP ticket.

“If Naidu does, I will also do the same. I wish Naidu will respond to my challenge,” he said.
