With the election season looming around, many political enthusiasts are marking out the hot contest areas.
One place that might capture the attention of the entire nation is Vizag.
The reason being, it could be that a clash is impending between Congress woman Daggubati Purandeshwari and YSRCP leader Sharmila.
Till sometime back, Purandeshwari was facing issues due to senior congress leader T Subbarami Reddy but now that he got Rajya Sabha nomination, he may not pose trouble.
Of course, no one knows the situation if he fails to win. For now, Purandeshwari looks set and she will have a tough fight with Sharmila.
On one side, Purandeshwari is the daughter of the great N T Rama Rao and her profile in Vizag has been quite good. However, the anti-Congress wave is very high.
For Sharmila, she is the sister of Y S Jagan and daughter of another powerful leader YSR. But it is not sure as to what kind of cadre strength YSRCP has in Vizag.
Senior leaders like Konathala Ramakrishna, Daadi Veerabhadra Rao need to work on that.
However, there could be a challenge in terms of Sabbam Hari’s group.
While all this is one side, the TDP candidate for Vizag is yet to be announced. And if that person also has a solid profile like this then the Vizag battle is going to get very interesting.
