AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday said his government would take help and cooperation from Singapore government and industrialists in the development of the State.
Speaking to media persons at his residence, Naidu thanked all those who cooperated in making Singapore visit a success.
During three-day visit to Singapore from November 12 to 14, a delegation led by Chandrababu Naidu had a mix of both Industry and Government representatives.
The delegation spent three engaging days by meeting executives of over 200 companies as part business meetings, functions and seminars.
Looking at the response of the Singapore Government and Industry in Singapore, it was very clear that the Singapore Government is quite keen to develop a strong relationship with Government of AP. Both the Governments have agreed and decided that it is in their best interest to work together.
The AP CM said Singapore GDP rate is four times more comparing to India. Though that country got Independence much later than India, but it has used new technology and achieved development very faster, he said.
“I was told that Singapore GDP is 300 billion dollrs”, Naidu said, adding that commitment, good governance with firm planning and sincerity of law enforcing persons are main reasons behind the success of Singapore.
“It was my endeavour and aim to built Andhra Pradesh as one of the top States in the country by 2022”, he added.
