Senior Congress legislator P Shankar Rao on Tuesday torn off a flexi wall poster comprising former Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at Congress Legislature Party office here. The flexi was torn off to some extent during a press conference.
He lambasted Kiran for his alleged involvement of illegal business of Red Sanders. He sought that Chief Secretary PK Mohanty conduct an inquiry into this issue which involves Kiran and former DGP Dinesh Reddy and submit a report to the Center for immediate action.
Ridiculing Kiran for getting back to KBR park for jagging, he predicted that Kiran will be sent to jail on proving guilty.
Rao alleged that Kiran defied the Congress, Center with regard to bifurcation. Despite any pressure and obstacles Sonia Gandhi kept the promise of Telangana statehood, he said.
He predicted that notification for general elections will be out on Mar 7 and Appointed Day will come on June 1. He condemned that an effigy of Sonia was set ablaze at OU campus.
