Now that the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh is confirmed and the election season is also nearby, it is time for the politicians to switch to parties where they see benefits and can gain power. In that process, many Congress leaders of Seemandhra are joining TDP and this trend is a bit unusual.
But then the real reason being given by few sources is that there are no empty seats in YSRCP and everybody are set to their seats and constituencies. So, if these leaders stick to Congress, they will not get votes and their political career is as good as finished. However, if they join TDP, they will at least come under the shade of opposition party.
But when asked about it the Congress refugees are telling everyone that Congress has divided the state and with that sadness and anger they are leaving the party. Well, Chandrababu Naidu is saying T-TDP folks can celebrate and he will develop Seemandhra.
By joining someone who is encouraging and acknowledging separatism and throwing cold water on Congress for separating the state, it goes to show the shamelessness of these Seemandhra Congress refugees who just want a political cushion and nothing else.
