Stating that Naidu was clearly fond to be the culprit in the Revanth Reddy episode rocking both the States, Congressman Shabbir Ali asked Naidu to step down from office.
So far, so good. But he goes a step further and says that Naidu should make Nandamuri Balakrishna the CM, as repentance for having backstabbed the late NTR.
Now this is something completely beyond the brief of Shabbir Ali. Will he now start suggesting the names of Chief Ministers in the capacity of an opposition leader?
Tomorrow, will he again ask Balayya to make Lakshmi Parvathi the CM? It would be better for everyone concerned if Shabbir Ali restricts himself to comments that are issue-based and sensible.
But then again, how can one expect common sense from a politician?
