Hyderabad: APJF held a round table to discuss the development prospects of the Seemandhra region.
The industrialists present commonly voiced the opinion that development should be holistic and that it must be spread across various cities, instead of focusing on one city.
They felt that the current problems stemmed from the fact that Hyderabad was the only city where all development took place till now.
However, Varaprasad Reddy of Shantha Biotechnics called the Centre’s package to assure equal development in various cities of Seemandhra a sham.
The industrialists present unanimously felt that unlike Singapore, development must be spread across different pockets in Seemandhra region.
