The protest by Seemandhra leaders in New Delhi against bifurcation of the State will not go waste and the Centre would definitely have to succumb to the public anger.
Dokka said the protests led Seemandhra problems to the Central level. He said the Centre will do justice to Seemandhra people post-bifurcation.
“I don’t think the UPA Government will ignore the Seemandhra problems”, he said.
Though there are political compulsions, political parties need to respect democracy, he said, adding that the intention of the Samaikyandhra leaders was to find a lasting solution.
Stating that Seemandhra people were dejected on State bifurcation thinking that it would cost them dearly, Dokka exuded confidence that the Centre will come out with an amicable solution to both the regions.
As far as my knowledge is concerned, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will not float a new party but may resign, he opined.
He also condemned the statements of ministers of TG Venkatesh and Erasu Prahap Reddy that Kiran Kumar Reddy will resign and form a new party.
