Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, who doesn’t lose any opportunity to claim that he had developed Hyderabad as an international city, is now eying on the prospective Seemandhra capital and wants to make it as a poll plank.
Naidu told a meeting of Seemandhra leaders at NTR Trust Bhavan on Monday that only the TDP could develop the residual State and had a clear vision on the building the new capital.
He reminded that it was TDP which developed Andhra Pradesh by introducing the Vision 2020 document.
He ridiculed the claims of YSR Congress Party on the development of Seemandhra region and said that the YSRCP would build another Chanchalguda Jail in place of new capital.
The TDP chief asked Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao to explain his contribution in the development of Hyderabad. Naidu said that the TDP would continue to struggle to restore Telugu pride and the overall development of Telugu people.
