Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao on Wednesday said that Hyderabad was peaceful and there was no need of imposition of section of 8 of Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act here.
Speaking to reporters here the minister accused the ministers of Andhra Pradesh of making a hue and cry only to escape from the noose from cash for vote scam.
He slammed the TDP ministers for pressing the Centre on Section 8 while entire State of Telangana was peaceful and sans any law and order problem.
He ruled out the imposition of the Section 8 as it was required now or in future as the TRS Government was cautious on the issue of law and order.
The TRS leader said that the AP Government was trying to escape from the case by filing cases against KCR.
"We could not understand as to why the AP Government is filing cases against our Chief Minister KCR”, he questioned. However, Naidu cannot escape from this case which shows his involvement, he said. Law will take its own course of action and there was no exception to Naidu and others who were involved in the cash for vote scam will face action", he warned.
