Telangana minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy stirs up another controversy. Recently, he created a flutter by firing into the air to celebrate 'Ayudha puja' during Dasara at his residence in Nirmal in Adilabad district.
While opposition parties are demanding the removal of Reddy from the cabinet for this act, the ministers seems to care a damn.
He raked up yet another controversy by making sanitary staff of municipal department to work in his house.
While the municipal sanitary staff are supposed to work for the public by cleaning the roads and streets, it was found that three sanitary workers were busy engaged in ‘mantri seva’ by working at the residence of minister.
Not only this, 2 more workers were assigned duties at the residence of minister’s PA.
When ward members in Nirmal municipality took up the issue in the meeting and raised protests, the municipal officials admitted to ‘wrong doing’ and said the services of those sanitary workers at the residences of minister and his PA would be withdrawn and utilized for public service.
Well, there could be no other place in the world than India where ‘political power’ can be abused so openly.
