Recently a VHP leader created a ‘Hulchul’ when he said that every Hindu woman should beget at least two children so that the ranks of the Hindus would swell in direct proportion to that of the ‘Mussalmans’.
Cutting the scene to Eluru in West Godavari district, we have our very own Chandrababu Naidu saying, “I see an increasing number of elderly citizens in our State. In the past, I had advocated a single-child policy but I think that every family should have at least two children considering the drastic decline in birth rates.”
And who will feed these children, dear Mr. Naidu?
You are a man of word and have proved it by being satisfied with a single jewel in the form of Lokesh, but then how can you expect the poor people in these times of rampant inflation to bring up two kids in a proper manner when a millionaire like you is satisfied with one kid?
Or is it that Mr. Naidu, by helping to increase the population, you increase the consumer base for MNC‘s which would then invest more in the State?
