Sai Reddy missing at Jagan review meet!

Sai Reddy missing at Jagan review meet!

YSR Congress Party president and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy held a meeting on Thursday with the contested candidates of the recently-held state assembly and Lok Sabha elections at his Tadepalli camp office.

The meeting was supposed to be attended by all 175 candidates who contested the assembly elections and 25 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. It is not immediately known whether any YSRCP candidates skipped the meeting.

However, one notable absentee was YSRCP general secretary V Vijay Sai Reddy, who contested the Lok Sabha elections from the Nellore parliamentary constituency.

Enquiries revealed that Sai Reddy deliberately avoided attending the extended party meeting despite prior notification from the party.

He is reportedly busy with some personal engagements in Hyderabad.

There have been reports that Sai Reddy has been disgruntled ever since he was sidelined by Jagan within the party.

He was recently removed from the post of YSRCP parliamentary party leader and was confined to the role of floor leader in the Rajya Sabha.

He was replaced by Y V Subba Reddy as the parliamentary party leader, who will have a separate chamber in Parliament, and all other party MPs will follow his directions.

It is learned that Sai Reddy is considering joining the Bharatiya Janata Party sooner or later to safeguard his political and business interests.
