Former Minister and senior Congress leader J C Diwakar Reddy on Thursday opined that the Congress high command would not commit another mistake now by sacking Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Speaking to the media here on Thursday, Diwakar Reddy brushed aside reports on change of the Chief Minister as mere speculation.
He said that Kiran was loyal to the high command and though he was in favour of United State, he would act according to the directions of the party. The Chief Minister was only voicing the peoples’ wishes and aspirations.
Diwakar Reddy further said that whether or not the Chief Minister would cooperate with the high command in State’s division would be known after the Friday meeting of the coordination committee.
Stating that he was pleading for Rayala-Telangana right from the beginning, he expressed gratitude to all those who were extending support to the proposal.
