The Congress party's latest allegation against Chandra Babu Naidu is that after spending Rs 400 crores in one hour, he has imposed a surcharge of Rs 400 crores on people, by increasing RTC fares.
Opposing the same, Congress and Left party leaders held a dharna opposite Vijayawada bus stop.
Devineni Nehru and ex MLA Malladi Vishnu participated in the dharna and alleged that Babu has spent Rs 400 crores in the name of capital inauguration, another Rs 1600 crores in the name of Godavari pushkaralu and Rs 350 crores for Chandranna Sankranthi scheme.
After splurging such huge amounts, now he is trying to impose extra charges on people they said. If Babu does not take back the order, they will intensify their agitation, they threatened.
