Rajya Sabha member and AICC spokesperson Renuka Choudhary seems to be facing a piquant situation on her regional identity.
While she cannot join the Seemandhra bandwagon as she represented Khammam in the past, the Telangana Congress leaders are not acknowledging her as a Telangana leader.
On Monday, Renuka was not called for a meeting of Telangana Congress leaders convened by Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana to discuss the issue of sending replies to the Group of Ministers on State bifurcation.
An agitated Renuka called up Botsa and asked him why only some Congress MPs were invited to the meeting of Telangana leaders.
The PCC chief clarified to her that he had called only the ministers and not any Member of Parliament.
However, several Telangana Congress leaders including former ministers, MLAs and even MPs attended the meeting. This has agitated Renuka who asked Botsa as to why only some MPs were invited.
Obviously, she was kept in dark about the meeting.
