Despite biffurcation and despite Andhra not being a part of Telangana any more, there is common feeling among grass root level people that TDP is an Andhra party.
Apparently, the same was observed by Revanth Reddy during his recent stay in Kodangal. Though TDP has cadre in Telangana, the party is not able to make a head start in the state due to Andhra feelings. So, Revanth Reddy has come up with a proposal.
According to him, Telangana TDP must have a tag line which says 'for the development of Telangana'.
Well, Reddy feels that this will help the party in getting wider base in Telangana. Reddy has already asked for the Telangana TDP leaders to meet so that they can discuss the same.
Meanwhile, the same would be discussed with Chandra Babu and if there is common agreement, then the tag line will be added to the party name in TDP.
