YSRCP leader Dr Mysoora Reddy has written an open letter to the Andhra Pradesh government requesting them to identify a location that was commonly acceptable to people of AP as the new capital city.
He opined that the government should develop the city in a place where there was abundance of government lands as this would facilitate development.
Recently, Mysoora was also part of a panel discussion which highlighted the need to develop the capital city in Rayalaseema.
Many are of the opinion that a place which will be accessible to people from all regions of AP would make for an ideal capital city.
Eventually, almost every leader is pitching for a capital city in their district little considering the infrastructural roadblocks that might surface if a sudden decision is made. But if the government delays the decision further, such problems are bound to arise.
