Reddy Says Modi Was Against Hike

Even as the nation is shocked at the 14 per cent hike in railway fares, Telangana BJP leader Kishan Reddy says that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was totally against the move.

Kishan Reddy maintained that the government had to resort to hike in fares due to unavoidable circumstances.

Now, if Modi was really against the hike, he could have easily deferred the decision. But since BJP is in power and they want to put up a brave face in front of people who want an answer regarding this steep hike, their leaders are coming up with such tame excuses.

Had the BJP been in opposition and if the Congress had hiked the prices, then they would have raised slogans and held dharnas on railway tracks.

Finally, it’s people who are losers as they have no respite irrespective of which government is voted to power.
