Anantapur MLA Gurunath Reddy has stopped sulking according to latest reports. He took offence after MP Anantha Venkatarami Reddy joined YSRCP.
Many felt that Gurunath Reddy would take on the party and make some nasty comments.
However, ex minister Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy seems to have intervened and settled the matter, following which Gurunath Reddy calmed down and decided to continue with YSRCP.
Claiming that his family was associated with YS Rajasekhar Reddy and his family for the past 40 years, Gurunath Reddy blamed some of his party members of spreading false rumours about him.
He said he would resolve any differences with Jagan. He added that differences of opinion are quite common in politics and blamed the media for stoking the flames. If a leader gives in, then media takes over and if he decides to be firm on his stand, then he is labeled a rebel, Gurunath said.
