The reason why Chandrababu wants to float a channel of his own is because Eenadu all of a sudden has turned KCR Sympathizer.
Rarely a day goes by without Eenadu carrying a front page article on KCR and criticism is virtually absent. Poor Chandrababu has been completely relegated to the inside pages.
Of course Ramoji is doing this in order to protect his interests in Telangana but this approach could prove detrimental to the interests of Naidu.
Naidu has hopes for coming back to power in Telangana in 2019 and if Eenadu doesn’t support him then it would become ‘mission impossible’.
ABN by itself is not sufficient enough to support him. Hence he is seriously contemplating a channel that would showcase him properly rather than a newspaper, so that he can call the shots instead of being at the mercy of other channels or newspapers.
