It is going to be tough time for Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu from Sunday, when he takes up the expansion and reshuffle of his cabinet.
Though Naidu is trying to satisfy most of the MLAs by accommodating as many as 26 new ministers, there is going to be a lot of disgruntlement in the party from those who fail to get the berths and also those who are going to lose their posts.
Naidu has assigned to his senior ministers like Yanamala Ramakrishnudu the task of pacifying the disgruntled elements, he knows it is not easy, as the opposition party YSR Congress is waiting in the wings to lure the dissident MLAs.
In fact, Naidu would not have faced much trouble had he decided to accommodate only loyal TDP legislators. But he is also said to be inducting the MLAs who defected from the YSR Congress party. This is causing a lot of heartburn among the real TDP workers. They have even threatened to take serious decisions, if defectors are given cabinet berths.
For example, the TDP aspirants K V Naidu, Meesala Geetha, D Jagadish and Sandhya Rani, all from Viziangaram told Naidu that they would not keep quiet, if YSR Congress party MLA from Bobbili Sujaya Krishna Ranga Rao made a minister.
So is the case with Shilpa family, which is opposing the plan to induct Bhuma Akhilapriya, daughter of late Bhuma Nagi Reddy into the cabinet.
Similarly, in Kadapa, senior TDP leader declared that he would have to take his own decision if defector MLA Adinarayana Reddy is made a minister.
