The Rayala Telangana proposal made by a few Congress leaders seems to have virtually not many takers. And in fact, it is facing a stiff resistance from many sections.
On Sunday, Telangana political JAC chairman Prof Kodandram said the Telangana people would strongly oppose the proposal of Rayala Telangana, and they were ready to fight against the proposal.
Kodandram said Hyderabad is integral part of Telangana. He alleged that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was working against the constitution by hatching a conspiracy to get the Legislative assembly prorogued.
He said Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar and ministers of Telangana should oppose Kiran Kumar Reddy’s moves.
Faulting Kiran Kumar Reddy for conspiring to get the Assembly prorogued, Kodandaram said the Centre had inherent right under the Constitution to carve out a new State without the consent of the Assembly.
