Rajnath Singh Warns KCR

KCR’s attempts to whip up regional sentiments once again by calling for a Bandh did not find favor with the Central government which took a serious view of the matter.

Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh called up KCR and gave him a stern warning against any violence erupting in Hyderabad because of the latter’s activities, especially at a sensitive moment when tempers are running high in Seemandhra following the bifurcation of the State.

Rajnath told KCR not to resort to any mischief mongering or create any situation in the State that would require the Centre to interfere.

A stunned KCR reportedly gave assurances to Rajnath Singh that he would not allow violence or the law and order situation in the State to deteriorate.

Already deeply hurt at Sonia Gandhi’s refusal to even acknowledge his presence at Modi’s swearing-in, KCR wanted to assert his authority at the National level once again by calling for a Bandh even though he is about to be the CM of Telangana.

He was in for a shock as a BJP government led by Modi at the Center is in no mood to entertain his hate-filled politics and clearly conveyed the same to him, unlike the UPA which heeded every request of his.
