Aam Aadmi Party president Arvind Kejriwal’s audacity in including the name of AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi in the list of corrupt politicians has triggered wild protests from the Congress leaders in the State.
Senior Congress leader and AICC member Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy demanded that Kejriwal tender an unconditional apology for making baseless allegations against Rahul.
He said AAP was trying to tarnish Rahul’s image.
“By naming Rahul Gandhi, the AAP has exhibited its enmity towards the AICC Vice-President. He said that Rahul Gandhi never indulged in corruption and never even tolerated such practices,” he said.
Ponguleti expressed surprise that AAP has spared Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi from the list of corrupt politicians.
He said that the exclusion clearly indicates that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has a soft corner towards the BJP and his party could sail with Modi in future.
