"December 31 tarvaata seemandhra vaallanu vellagottandi". This is the slogan that was stamped on a few 10 rupee currency notes in Andhra Pradesh. These notes started their circulation from Telangana region and reached Seemandhra people as well.
There is a big uproar on this in Kurnool. Many have started agitation on this in association with Samaikyandhra JAC. They shouted slogans against the separatists at Sri Krishna Deva Raya statue in Kurnool.
They have also demanded for the arrests of those responsible for this. 'Situation proves worse for Seemandhra people in Hyderabad if the state gets divided', opined many.
