There are speculations that Purandeshwari, the BJP Andhra Pradesh President, may soon be removed from her position and replaced by a strong leader with an RSS background.
The BJP reportedly wants Purandeshwari to focus on being more active in the Lok Sabha. Concerns have been raised with the BJP leadership in Delhi regarding her role in denying tickets to several candidates and favoring 'own people' during the elections.
There are also rumors that her reputation has been tarnished due to alleged deals made by her husband, Daggubati Venkateswara Rao.
Purandeshwari, who expected a ministerial position or the post of Speaker in the central government, was disappointed when she wasn’t even offered the role of parliamentary committee chairperson.
Reports suggest that even the RSS has submitted unfavorable feedback against her.
