Union Minister D Purandeswari seems to be desperately trying to safeguard her political future by showing at least lip sympathy for Samaikyandhra cause.
Apparently, she has realized that the people are angry with her for toeing the line of high command.
Purandeshwari on Monday announced said that she would oppose the Telangana Bill in the Parliament.
Describing the Telangana Bill as incomplete, Purandeshwari said that the Bill did not accommodate the suggestions made by the Seemandhra union ministers.
Further, she said that the Bill failed to address the concerns of people living in Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra regions.
Stating that the Hyderabad should be made a joint capital for both the regions after the bifurcation, Purandeswari said that there no provision in the Constitution for a common capital.
